Pure domination. Those are the words that can be used to describe the performance of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in their 94-82 win over the Atlanta Hawks Friday night at Philips Arena to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The conference finals are all set up and chalk has held up as the top two seeds in each conference have survived and advanced to the NBA’s Final Four. Let’s take a look at the Eastern Conference Finals match-up with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks.
Al Horford came up big the other night in Game 5 for the Hawks, who were in danger of going down 3-2 against the Washington Wizards, and having to go on the road for Game 6 in DC. Had it not been for his outstanding play, the Hawks might be facing elimination from the playoffs.
With their Game 4 win last night, the Atlanta Hawks went from looking like a No. 4 or 5 seed for these playoffs, to looking more like the No. 1 seed they earned during the regular season.

LeBron James’ headband has made an appearance in the Cavs’ 2015 playoff run. After the much talked about absence of James’ headband throughout the playoffs, he decided to make a game-time decision, and sport his signature headband. It was a change that brought upon an even more aggressive LeBron in leading the Cavs to a 106-91 Game 2 win to even the series with the Chicago Bulls at one game apiece.
